Case Study : We were called to survey a work station at a car assembly plant. The worker was having problems with the display on her computer monitor. The station had been recently set up, but the instabililty of the display was causing strain and severe headaches.

An alert coworker thought this may have been caused by EMF from a refridgerator through the wall from the adjacent lunch room. This was checked and although a field was present it was not considered strong enough to have caused noticeable health problems in such a short space of time. Further testing revealed that the source of the problem was a wrongly wired electrical outlet below the desk.
